I bought this because it is surprisingly difficult to find a quality silk robe with an interior tie. I had just returned a gorgeous robe from Niemann Marcus for not having that little tie. This lovely inexpensive robe does indeed have the tie, and it is nice and lightweight. I'll definitely dry clean it, assuming that it lasts, to help its longevity.

The fabric of the robe is beautiful. It is light weight and silky to the touch. I think it is silk and washable. The workmanship is very well-done. It will be a birthday gift to an elderly lady. She will love it. Same goes for younger ladies. It is a gift item that has no age boundaries. This one is long with a self tie inside, and a matching silky tie closure for the outer part.
